1. Something totally amazing I never would have thought of, such as tickets to go see my favorite band…
2. A webcam, so I can skype…My dad skypes…I never have. WTF?
3. The Anne of Green Gables movies, only 1 and 2 though. I ask for these every year…no one listens…
4. ALSO, A Little Princess and The Secret Garden. Amazing movies.
5. A complete, hardcover set of Harry Potter.
6. A magazine subscription to Instyle or Nyon or even Cosmo….I love trashy magazines…
7. Really luxurious throw pillows.
8. Aveda Be Curly styling stuff.
9. A nice set of makeup brushes.
10. Gift cards. I am of the opinion that a gift card, if presented in a personal way, are NOT a cop-out. For example, with a hand-decorated T-shirt, or a photo, or tucked into an old book from a thrift shop.
11. An adventure. A weekend getaway, horseback riding…anything.
12. Karate stuff…Hakama pants, a new sword, a solid bo staff, one of those brushed cotton women’s gi tops.
